i have a lot of moles on my face too. Like, 4 or five I think, and my mother has a lot, so it's not weird to me, just something I didn't notice when I drew Rain. Woopsy. I think moles can be pretty, so it's not a problem for me most of the time, though I have a few not on my face which bug me a little bit

Moles can definitely be pretty!! I think they make a face more interesting. When I was a child though, I saw so little representation of people with moles in media I always thought they were “too ugly”. So thank you for creating this thread, I’m so excited to see all these characters who have moles and are still pretty!

Scars are kinda important in See The Stars, Everyone in the main cast has them and they're emblimatic of the particular ways that the Tazdahir has messed them up.

Alya has a lot of sporadic stab/slice wounds due to infighting among technicians. They have two on their stomach, one on each arm, one on their neck and one on their face which is inflicted in chapter 2.

Rahat had their whole ass leg amputated after they crashed their spaceship and a massive burn scar that covers half their torso.

Najm has lots of surgical scars from all the alterations that have been forced on them in the interest of violent experimentation.

Qam lost two fingers on one hand and a giant acid burn covering their arm from... well,

I just recently drew a character with a scar, it’s a keloid scar on her face! Her name is Yaritza and she’s a bounty hunter of sorts, maybe a little more chaotic than that, she goes out to kill Knights but she’s not exactly getting paid to do that.

@Leyelle Oh Texas is gonna brave it and get some tattoos??! My dad has a few actually, and I planned some but honestly I’m too scared of needles

Texas already has tattoos. The moon under her collar bone is a tattoo, but the plan is for her to get a few more before the story is over. she tends to test her tattoos by drawing on makeup consistently and seeing how she likes wearing the mark every day. I think one of her new tats will be a half moon-sun on her wrist. then she'll get Chili to get one on his opposite hand so they can create a full moon whenever they hold hands.

As for needles, I feel yah, but my biggest fear with tattoos is skin irritation or cancer. I've got very sensitive skin and I'm worried i'd have an allergic reaction. My dreams of getting a sleeve tattoo of a zentangle will probably die unrealized TT. I might try henna tho.

Oh hey, if you ever get a little extra cash they have printer paper that works like a temporary tatto, you can print out your own designs! Idk if that’s more feasible than a real tattoo because you need to get somewhere with a printer, but just a little side note if you’re afraid of having allergic reaction… but maybe the sticker transfer paper would be just irritating the woes of having sensitive skin, I get you, I’m the same way actually.

Maybe Texas is onto something by drawing on her tattoos with makeup first? Henna might be a good substitute, temporary but a little more long lasting, but you can make up new designs every time it fades!
