Any of these guys, if you like. Vienna (far left) is the main protag but if any of them in particular catch your fancy, pick your favorite!
From left to right, Vienna would probably be a ghoul, Nico would be a werewolf, Yami might be a siren, and Sybil is probably a ghost

You can do one or the other (or both), it's up to you!
They can canonically turn into dragons which can be seen here and here.

Heya chief. Here's Susan from Life of an Aspie. Since the events of the current chapter have her depicted as a metaphorical monster in the eyes of just about everybody on campus, I think it would be appropriate if she appeared in your new comic as a demon. Credit to @Sepharic for the below image.
