Hi I am Yugi and I'm a writer

I came up with a concept for a story, I thought that if there are artists that want to draw comics/manga but are having trouble coming up with a story to draw then I could start off by sharing the story concept I thought of

It could be a one-shot manga or a longer story if you want

This is not for pay, this is for exposure and fun

One thing that I have to mention, for this story I'd normally only collaborate with artists that draw in a Japanese Anime art style or marvel art style but if you really want to draw in another art style, then I'd have to see your art first for me to know if I'm OK with it. I'm sorry if that's an inconvenience for you

The concept of a comic story I have thought about

I was thinking about a story about a scientist that discovered an alien space pod that crash landed from outer space. Inside of the pod there was an orb that contained some kind of alien DNA. When the scientist ran some tests on the orb and found out that it contained some kind of alien DNA, the scientist decided to use this DNA to create a living humanoid being from it. With the DNA he eventually ends up creating human looking girl he named Ruby.

The scientist's motivation for creating Ruby is pure and utter curiosity, he used to work for a big multi-million dollar organization but he quit working there because of some illegal experiments that the organization was conducting.

Using the alien DNA, he created a girl he named Ruby

The organization the scientist used to work for eventually finds out about Ruby and wants to take Ruby from her father, the scientist who created her

It might be a good idea to includes examples of your own previous work in your post. Letting people read samples of your past comic scripts and/or prose can give them a better idea of whether the two of you would be a good creative fit.

I use my procrastination time doing this instead of doing my commission so please don't judge me too much. ;v; So I figure I should just make a guide about ‘How To Make A Good Collaboration And Partnership Offer’ Thread. The comic strip that I have done isn't a good example of the kind of art I want this comic to be drawn in, so that's why I didn't show a sample of my art. As long as the artist has an cool art style then it's awesome

Show examples of your writing. That's what potential collaborators need to determine if they'd be a good fit. If you haven't written any stories or published any writing online, I strongly suggest you do this before trying to collaborate with another person. Good luck! ^^
