I've currently got several fantasy stories I'm working on all set in the same shared "universe" though it's more the same planet just different parts of that worlds timeline.
The setting itself takes structure after "Earth's" end and while there's no planned comic to cover that period I'd imagine it's aftermath being something like Girl's Last Tour, an anime that came to be I think one of my favorite takes on a sort of post apocalyptic setting out of the ones I've seen. Where the comics do begin are some centuries after where deities have come and "reset" or reshaped the world now that what's left of humanity has seen it's errors in needlessly warring with one another and destroying their home. So that transformation gives rise to a more fantastic setting with supernatural creatures, empowered humans (and non) and a generally altered landscape in terms of global biomes with new flora and fauna.
From there is the first comic in the timeline that follows two main female protags and the people they encounter as they go on their own adventure. A big thing for me though is that it won't follow the structure of some hero or heroes getting stronger to beat some big bad but instead exploring, meeting people, learning about others and themselves and growing that way. It's able to end at any point, there's chances for higher stakes conflict but there isn't some defined bbeg in the foreground or background because the focus is meant to be interpersonal relationships or those between cultures and communities.
There's two (likely smaller) comics I'd also drafted one closer to that time period and another further ahead. The first of the two would follow another protag that's something like a bounty hunter or paid messenger and a specific encounter they have with an ensemble of empowered humans. It would also likely be low stakes but also the closest I think I'd tread to anything vaguely near the "romance" genre even if it probably wouldn't really be that. It's another one that focuses on interpersonal relationships but also introspection and understanding different perspectives
The other is a bit more lighthearted with a kind of mystery gang scooby doo vibes with with a duo than a group, one being a guy who toyed with temporeal magic beyond his capacity to handle and the other someone he meets post consequences of his actions and they both would go on random misadventures through the "gaps of reality" a la something like the backrooms but not quite that. Again tho mostly meant to be kind of lighthearted and funny with touches of mystery and suspense but there'd definitely be small mixes of drama depending of the stakes of their circumstances.
The rest though, a bit like the last, would be set much closer to a modern day similar to our own one being a slice of life following a group of friends in a small town-ish city filed with empowered humans and other supernatural creatures and how they go about their day to day and all their interconnected relationships. There'd probably be interspersed moments of drama but predominately just typical slice of life ans sprinkles of romance with the main duo I'd built that story around.
And the last, which is a bit heavier in tone, is a supernatural sort of drama that follows one main character and their relationships both in life and 'after'. It's the only one (aside from maybe the rpg styled fantasy adventure comic) that covers things like mental health and connected issues but it also delves into an afterlife system i wound up making (including a sort of reincarnation system but without the weird tropey stuff).
Fantasy is one of my favorite genres but being a fan means having consumed a lot of media within the genre and all it's ups and downs so when it came to making my own stuff the goal was to create things I knew I'd enjoy but also changing or omitting some of those tropes that i didn't like and seeing how i'd craft a story or world in my own way and each of those is the by product.
