Hello aspiring artists!
If you hit this forum, you probably:
1) Want to draw like a manga artist!
2) Curious of what book I'm suggesting
3) Think I'm full of doo doo (you're not wrong)
4) I dunno, bored or something
Regardless of your reason, I recently read a book, that will help you how to draw manga.
Okay, but this isn't a "How to Draw" book, where they will teach you to draw in a manga style or anatomy like that, you gotta figure that stuff out on your own.
Look up anatomy books, or copy from your manga books.
I did that, and I turned out fine.
But this is a how to draw manga - book in a sense that it will teach you of the basics and theories of drawing manga, and what goes into the production of one. What makes the difference between a successful manga artist and an amateur.
The author is not that well known though, as he has written such manga such as these.
I mean, who knows Hirohiki Araki. I mean, he's no Mark Crilley or Ben Dunn. Am I right?
(That was a joke...)
So if you wanna check out the book, it's out at Amazon, Barnes&Nobles, Viz Media (The people who publish Shonen Jump and other products), and any other participating retailers. This is what it's called.
I hope you guys learn a lot and understand what makes a manga a manga.
