I live with my parents so might likely roll with them, and we have a close knit neighbor hood so survivors might team up. I'd surely have to be more disciplined with my sleep time/ lack of sleep on those unexpected zombie days and help community where I can with chores. I'll also have to have to give up being a fussy eater lol
In my comic they lost cellphone and broadcast service, and some areas suffered power outage, current episode I'm working on the MCs broke into a grocery and had to think of them not taking foods that needed microwaving- snacks and dried goods. One MC has a two-way walkie talkie
which becomes a source of communication. Also looked at how the MCs get around abandoned groceries, safe places with alarms, because if it goes off it will draw infected into location.
The outbreak happened late night so places would be closed for the night, alarms set etc.
I'm no expert so always fun reading and learning more from survival themes stuff online
The zombie apocalypse reversed in the comic, as the MCs (two brothers) develop a condition that makes them turn anyone within a 20-30ft radius into zombie-like monsters. Worst for them bec if they want to rescue a survivor, means they can't directly approach the survivor or risk infecting them too.
There's a bit of cheating too bec the bros' condition also gives them abilities to kill the infected.
Regular humans have it worse however, as the infected can flash step, shift between liquid/solid and gas to enter small spaces, evade bullets and infect other humans within seconds (the bros r immune).
Don't think I'd do this one but -
