If I was and executive producer had directors/writers, a whole animation crew the whole shebang then I recon I could get about 2-3 seasons out of it, first season would have the first 2 chapters and maybe some backstory cutscenes as the first episode. the rest of the season would be a seiries of missions with disperate side-plots to provide characterisation ending with [spoilers for my comic if you care] Najm getting blown up, with 2 40 minute specials for their performance review with leopold as a finaly.
the second season would have the first half of them stuggling with the missions they could do easily before and plotting their escape, their escape - interlaced with sideplots about the people they left behind and the latter half of the season where they're searching for the rebellion - helping people they find along the way. ending with them desperately running from a recover team from the tazdahir - they fail and they get them, but the recovery team lies and lets them go. they then find the rebels who imprison them.
third season focusses on the rebel leaders, and the crew trying to get out of imprisonment and the deterioating situation with the tazdahir. The rebel leaders hate them due to the crimes they had commited, particularly Najm who directly murdered many of their allies, and they hate the rest of them for enabling that harm. And the season is much more theme-heavy than the previous seasons.
the third season could probably be rolled into the second with some cuts. but I didn't realise how much I could've done if it were some other medium. As it stands, STS is better as a comic because it can exist and I can make it.
