Hi! I'm 28 and still struggling to become a successful comic artist. In the meantime, I've been working as a teacher (part-time) and as a comic artist (mostly at night). Thank you so much for making this thread, sometimes I feel bad for not being good enough (adding to the social pressure for being almost 30 and still not "successful" as my family puts it).
This is my current webcomic: It's a bout a group of friends in a nuclear shelter after a nuclear war contaminated the Earth. It's a sort of slice of life, drama, post-apocalytic mix. But most of the time it is quite light-hearted. With just some dramatic parts (mostly family or characters' personal issues).

I've lived in Bandung, Surabaya, Medan, and a tiny village in Aceh lol so I've been around a bit haha! I miss it there too! I've lived in Malaysia too. I miss the food from that part of the world, it makes me hungry just thinking about it hahaha What part of Indonesia are you from?
That's so cool! I haven't even been to Medan, Surabaya, and Aceh yet I was born and raised in Indonesia but I lived in Malaysia for 10 years for studies and previous jobs.
Can't help to think about food when it's Indo and Malaysia hahaha I miss batagor and mamak food so bad omg

oh so we've both lived in both places! that's great! We lived in Penang, Malaysia for a while, my parents taught at an international school there, so we were there for school too!
Man, I just miss really good nasi goreng! and rendang...rendang is good. it's been such a long time since I've had Indonesian or Malay food ughhh spicy food is the best!!

Hell yeah rendang I miss it so much too!
I usually find the spices or something similar to it and try to cook it but sometimes I don't want to cook it myself

My dad is usually the one that makes Indonesian food for us, when we go home to visit. We've been lucky, we've been able to get friends who come to the US from there to bring us spices and stuff!
