Hello everyone, I'm Lee Jay C, the author of "The Duke Who Changes." I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you for your unwavering support throughout the season. I'm truly humbled to have readers like you who have invested their time and emotions into my novel.
As some of you may know, I've been facing some health issues lately, and I've had to take a step back to focus on my recovery. I know this might come as a surprise to many of you, especially since I've been actively updating the novel until recently. Unfortunately, my body has other plans, and I need to prioritize my health right now.
Please don't worry, I'm not abandoning the series! I'm committed to completing the story and bringing you more thrilling plot twists and turns. In fact, I've got some exciting developments planned for the future, including a major revelation about Cubresia ducal blood that I think you'll find fascinating.
During my break, I'll be focusing on my health and well-being, and I'm looking forward to returning to the novel with renewed energy and creativity. I'm planning to take about a week to recuperate, and I'll be back with new updates soon.
Before I go, I want to invite you all to a special event on November 9, 2025, the date where Ill be going back, I've got something planned that I think you'll all enjoy, and I'd love for you to join me. Mark your calendars and stay tuned for more details!
As I take my leave, I want to leave you with a little scene between Sir Permio and me:
"No, you can't, Lee Jaynim! Duke Claude will surely make you leave the Duchy!" Sir Permio begged, tears streaming down his face.
"Waaah, I also want to stay, but I need to take care of myself. What if you get hurt?" I explained, trying to reassure him.
"Noooo!" Sir Permio shouted as he watched me leave the Duchy, his voice echoing through the halls.
Thank you again for your support, and I look forward to returning to the novel soon!
