I'll tip the first 3 answers :-) Which one is your comic and which dimensions do you use?

I was wondering how does your comic or manga looks on tapas and the height, width, and format you use. It would be great to adapt the prologue of my journal which also has the first 6 episodes in Spanish. The thing is that I can't draw and artists are asking me the dimensions I want.

That depends on the format you're using.
Mobile format or regular comic format?
It's a bit different depending on which you're having.

I go by regular comic format, 600px width - 843px height.

I'd say about 800px width would be the best for mobile users, it makes the comic look a little bit better.
(I go by 600 as that looks better on desktop but bigger is better!)
You can have the height as tall as you want to, but tapastic recommends:
"For image quality, that is. Each image can be up to 940 x 4000px, with a maximum file size of 2MB."

Hey! I'm looking at your series. Are they all 600 x 843?
Which format are available? I actually don't know since I've never drawn.

just tell em A4 man, 350 dpi for the resolution. youll have to resize to 940px wide when posting on tapas, but you do not want your original pages to be that small.

Yep! They're all 600!

However, that's only when I publish them. Original file is much, much larger tho, about 2000-7000 depending on whether or not I'm going to print the comic.
I also do more traditional, so I scan them in 720DPI.

Mobile format are more like one panel each, where you have to scroll to go to the next panel, which works wonders on mobile. (Not so much on desktop tho).

Both use mobile format (Chrono does in the latest episode unless they've change the format in early episodes).

the length can vary, and often decided on how many panels per page you want.

For The Changeling's Sister I work in a single page format. If I ever get it printed I want it to be B5 sized, so that's the dimensions I work from. The image I upload is 940 x 1330 px (940px being the width restriction on Tapas).

Then I'd suggest that the artist use B2 format!
Always work in 2-3 sizes larger than what you intend to print.
(The details looks soooo much better when you do that)

I use 10 and 1/8 inches by 6 and 5/8 inches (25.7 cm x 16.8 cm).
It's the standart comic size used by DC and Marvel. It also fits almost perfectly on phones, which is an important thing here.
I use a resolution of 300 dpi, but that's because my computer can't handle more, if you can I'd reccomend 600.
Refer to the newest pages to see what i mean:
