Honestly, if it were a contest, I'd say Harry Houdini would lose it. Sleeping more, or closer to the 8 hours would be a win in my book haha.
Also, there's the case that humans pre-industrial revolution (as in Michelangelo) would likely have a biphasic sleep pattern, as in, they slept in 2 short shifts, instead of 1 big sleep. So that might be where his 4 hour sleep came from.
In general I don't consider it aspirational to sleep less than you need (not everyone will need a full 8 hours, I myself get by easily on 6-ish hours).
