I remember when one of my OCs ate a tree whole, good times...

I found my comic in #75 for slice of life, I wonder what are the criteria for the rank

You can use very simple models to define a form or an object, what matters is that its representation is clear, for example check the image below, you can tell exactly what is happening despite it's the world's worst drawing. [image]

Nvm this, wrong topic XD

I'll try it when my workstation ice melts...

Pretty much all premium comics look the same to me (someone's king dauthers mistress/butler/lover, etc etc) So, pretty much I wont even bore go past page 1 even if it has 1 zillion followers. I like terribly drawn comics with careless story, quite fun to read :stuck_out_tongue:

I'm not good at imagining things, I need a base not matter how bad drawn it is :stuck_out_tongue:

I got several stories, some in text others in low life drawings, I've never published any... bad rawings, bad grammar, bad panelling, like bad everything lol

My comic is about two sisters, one of them finds herself unable to eat because of the nightmares of the other in which she bullies her :stuck_out_tongue:

I said I wanted to practice, not to win money lol :stuck_out_tongue: For those who don't know what a One-shot is, they are short stories that carry your idea to the public. In japan, you need to submit your one-shot ideas to editors in hope you get serialized.

Does anyone have a drafted one-shot for me to practice my drawings? XD By drafted I mean low quality sketches one does just to get an idea of the page content.

Since webcomics are just for fun I dont do character sheets :stuck_out_tongue:

It's very hard really, you can spam these forums as much as you like, but your sub count wont increase much. You'll have to advertise it in several places and hope it's good enough for readers to go beyond the first chapter. There are thousands if not millions of webnovels and comics, it's hard to s…

You do know just a 20 second animation can be months and thousands of dollars worth of work for paying an artist, right? I dont think he meant a marvel like movie, movies can be a simple animation of comic images with effects :stuck_out_tongue: Still, it's hard to find an artist, let alone an animator :stuck_out_tongue:

At some point of your life american cartoons are simply not enough, just got in love with my first anime that aired on tv in the 90's: The Misterious Cities of Gold, ever since, I didnt watch american cartoons :stuck_out_tongue:

Odd, I had a similar idea, but my christmas dinner table was badly drawn, and there were only 12 chairs. :stuck_out_tongue:

tomb raider and Horizon zero dawn. I liked the early tomb raider games for the clever puzzles, I like hzd for the beauty of the world and story. I liked "the last of us", but hated the sequel. "Cyberpunk 2077" was pretty good.

[image] They shared the moon, but couldnt agree regarding the sun, greedy :stuck_out_tongue:

Strangely only lately I introduced flowers in my nature drawings, kindda silly if you think about it, before it was mostly grass and leaves. [image] [image]

Has anyone that is a writer and has no drawing skills actually tried to do some sketching no matter how low quality it was? Just for the sake of "feeling" the story visuals?

Crogigers, a cross between crocodile, giraffe and tiger XD

All artists in the world who dont value their old art enough :stuck_out_tongue:

the new art may show more skill, but the old one has more meaning and passion :stuck_out_tongue:

first, a christmas tale to get in the mood [image]

The cat ran and fell into a pit, the cat jumped and left the hole. end of story.

I would like to try that one day :stuck_out_tongue:
