I'm doing an experiment to see what details fellow artists will add or remove from a simple character design. You can follow along with the progress if you want.
This is where I'm starting. I've chosen Diogo as the first artist. When he's finished I will update this and he will choose the next.
This seems like a lot of fun, I would like to participate if that's possible? :V If we get to participate would we need to include the added and removed features underneath the image like how you have it in this post or..?
I'm letting each artist pick who they want next. So hopefully you get chosen along the way. I would like people to make changes to the file, yes. I've sent out the original PSD so it can be modified and added to.

Currently, it’s completely up to the current artist who gets it next.
I’ll probably try to this again in the future where people can apply and I’ll choose artists from a pool. But for now, it’s just patience.
