I'm getting my series animated!

So for the past month I haven't been updating my series called Constellation. That's because I've been doing business with an animation studio called D'ART Shtajio. So those of you who been reading it, I just wanted to say thank you. And I will be updating it again starting this Sunday. And for anybody that is currently looking for an animation studio they are still accepting submissions.

How many episodes? 13.

Is it Dubbed or Subbed? Both.

I would love to see my comic get animated, as I'm sure many of us would. My primary concern, as I'm also sure with everybody, is funding. Do you have to gather the funds? Do they have sponsors? Can you tell us more about how that works?

How much does it cost to get your series animated? Surely they must have a budget in mind. I'm just asking because I may want to work with them in the future.

The contract is different for each project. As for my agreement, I pay 78% of the total cost for the project, which is $2,146. I pay half of that upfront then the other half once the series is finished. By what I've heard from other customers, is that they also do payment plans.

But the cost of the project depends on the genre of the story. Since my story is Dark/Romance the cost was closer to the cheap side. So I'm assuming action series are more expensive.

Oh I forgot to mention. The amount of revenue you keep depends on how much of the project you are funding.

Actually Constellation is a novel (kinda). Since it's technically already in script fromat. I just did some minor edits for grammar and spelling.

Sorry to be straight forward about this, but. Did they approach you or did you approach them to start it? Because thats fantastic none-the-less. lol
