Yep. Lots of artists go to staples. BE CAREFUL. Not all staples have printers that will print in color. Not all staples have printers for customers. Not all staples have good quality prints.
See this artwork? I've gotten prints of it at multiple suppliers - Fred Meyer, Costco, and Staples.

Up until Freddies changed their set-up 5 years ago, they were the best. Since then, it and Staples, both produce lower quality prints. See that red bandana on his arm? A lower quality print will show that it's a lower quality by blurring the image as the printer grabs the image from a software that's compressed it into a LQ compressed-JPG until it looks like a shitty gif. The copy of the art on dA's been lowered in quality. Now imagine that section of red looks worse. All of the red will do this and it causes those pixalation squares around lines we all know and love audibly groans
Costco is the only one that will not compress the image before printing which is amazing considering you give them the files through the same sort of upload and download software that Freddy switched to. [Prior to the switch for Freddy, they used to compress it if you uploaded it on the website and logged in at a kiosk and printed at the store- but if you had a USBdrive and gave the raw file (which it should both be but alas, the uploading would compress it because reasons), then Freddy's printers would print better. The company also switched printers from inkjets to laserprints which costs them less but results in again, lower quality prints. Dries faster, not as UV resistant.. I could go on and on about why laserjets should be burned at the stake.]
Back to my point about staples: my local one does not have a printer service. Which means all I can do is pick it up (black and white TEXT documents only) and review it. But they will charge you even if your prints are poor. Prints that were poor at Freddy's before, when you showed them how shitty they were compared to what they should be, would give you the crappy ones for free so you could discard them yourself.
