Alternative fantasy worlds that departs from traditional narratives are definitely my jam x)
I can recommend a few curious ones that I really feel really deserve more attention:
This is one has a very offbeat and surreal sense of humour. The art style really stands out as well.
Another very surreal fantasy series. I would recommend checking out other comics by the author, even if this one strikes you as a little too bizarre or difficult to follow. She also writes a series set in a kingdom of necromancers, and it's pretty hilarious.
This one's just getting started, but if you like the subversion of classic DnD fantasy tropes- now seems like a good time to jump on board.
Check out this one for great worldbuilding and an interesting take on learning magic.
A somewhat more traditional fantasy world- but the story seems to revolve around survival against the elements and relationships between characters.
I could probably go on for quite a while, but these are the ones that happened to come to mind (and hadn't already been mentioned).
