I have forgotten it's name cause I'm an idiot. I don't even know if this forum was meant for questions like this, but I figured it couldn't hurt to try.
I think the comic I'm looking for was under the supernatural or the thriller genre. It wasn't coloured and the main premise is that people have these sort of shadows which reflect their inner thoughts and the protag can speak to them. He does not read minds. He only knows what the shadows tell him. For whatever reason, he couldn't talk to his best friend's shadow (I was so looking forward to the explanation for this, but dumb me went and forgot the name).
The comic hadn't gone very far when I was reading (which is why I left it for so long, I was giving the author time to update. Plus, I think there was a hiatus at some point). I remember that I was at the point where he was investigating the disappearance of a girl. Her aunt was the one who met him for help. Her shadow, however, was hinting that the aunt was hiding something. He went to the river her shadow told him to go to and found the girl's body, then chapter end. I'm still reeling from that cliffhanger.
Forgot to add. The comic protag is a sort of chubby, average heighted, glasses wearing dude. He's honestly kinda weird, like conspiracy theorist weird. He makes his own ad videos (the first episode was one of them) and posts them saying that he can read minds (he can't) and other services. He calls himself a consulting detective, I believe. His best friend/roommate does not approve, but the protag is constantly trying to get him to be his assistant/partner or something. I think in the last episode I read, the roommate caved and came to find the protag, cause he was acting weird (weirder than usual) on the phone. That's the last thing I can recall. If anyone can tell me anything at all to help me find the comic, I'd be very grateful.
