In need of guest comics :C

Heyo everyone! I write a webcomic called SwitchOut (On Tapastic here), I'll be short on this part; I was hit by a truck while crossing the street new year's eve. I survived, but with a bad concussion and a crushed ankle. I'm current;y unable to write my comic and I'm unsure how long SwitchOut will be on pause.

Because of this, I'm wondering if anyone would like to create guest comics, short strips while SwitchOut is unable to update. I'll be sure to link your prefered username, your comic series, and any other website you'd like me to link to (ex: tumblr, deviantart, twitter, etc)

@drawingpie Ah I super appreciate it! At the moment I'm pretty open to ideas, I've never had guest comics before so it's a first for me ;v; Just the regular rules of no slurs, no current event politics, etc and I'd rather nothing that continues the story from it's current abrupt pause point.

Past that I can't imagine anything else being a no go, I wouldn't even mind "crossover" or "AUs" as long as it's explained so that the readers can understand ovo I'm mostly prepared for short gag-like strips, but if you want to have a jab at a longer strip I'm more than willing. The main website would be a bit awkward though, so if you're willing, we can always break up the longer strip into parts.

Geeze that's rough. I'm sorry to hear about your injury, and I hope you'll recover well and be alright in the meantime.

I'm notoriously bad at doing anything within any sort of reasonable time frame, and I rarely do guest comics for exactly that reason... but given the circumstances, I'll try to help out if I can.

First off, thank goodness you're okay! Get plenty of rest and don't move around too much!!

I would love to help, I'm a little busy at the moment but I can in about two weeks definitely! Anything to make the coping easier, it'll help with the healing hopefully. I'll email you ASAP and read up on the comic

I think the different art styles are what make guest comics so fantastic! ovo I would be honored if you created a guest comic!

Also, super thanks to everyone for the get well wishes >v< I should be out of my cast in two weeks, though the crushing created extra tissue damage that makes extra swelling so I cant sit at my desk. Once I'm out of the cast and into a walking boot, things should be a lot better for me ovo
