Ink as Donation?

Recently I had several ink donations from generous donors and I was wondering:
Does receiving ink count as a donation or as a kind of payment by tapas?

like for taxes reasons? Like if it's considered a tip or considered income?

Yeas exactly since i had a little amount of money over the years ^^

For the US at least, it would be reported as part of your income for Self Employment taxes, honestly, but only if you made enough to actually have to pay Self Employment taxes. There's no W2 coming from Tapas so you don't have to worry about that part of your taxes.

I'm from france so i guess it doesn't apply to me

France should have self employment taxes, I would deffo look it up.

For years I wasn't actually paying a business license for my online sales, and I got fined for that, so it doesn't hurt to ask.

In all, it is considered income, it's just not in the same place you would probably put your salary or hourly wages if you were working for a company.
