Inksgiving Novel Ideas

Hey all~

So I'm really curious and have a few questions that I wonder if anyone has any answers for.

Mainly, what type of incentives would you guys have for your supporters? I would love to get my viewers interested and interact with them more, but so far I haven't had much luck doing so even with just normal updates and posts.
My first thought was to post fan art or little drabbles that don't pertain to the main plot of the novel.
Speaking of fan art, does anyone know how to post images with novel pages haha.

And lastly, I'd love to make some more novelist friends here and maybe even create a discord server where we can talk about our works and get advice from one another and what not? What do you guys think?

Then when we are coming closer I will promote my Ink-goal. My Ink-goal is if I get that I will make a Christmas special of the Worldbuilding where you can win Ink. Those ink are the ink I get back from Tapas in this insgiving, I get cast into a competition.

I think it might still be possible to post novel pages with images, though I haven't done it myself yet. I found this thread on it: How to Put Pictures in Novel

I don't do discord, but I'd love to have more novelist friends here. I write mostly speculative fiction (Fantasy and Sci-fi).

I’m considering doing a special chapter and maybe an share art piece for my readers as well.

You can always encourage your readers to comment/like your work at the end of chapters. Some people have little art-style icons that they use to do this, or you can have something in the author’s note at the bottom that encourages it! Maybe ask different questions and see if they respond.

I should probably get a discord. I’ve been asked if I have one and it seems quite popular amongst the “creator” community!

I really like discord! I started using it because of friends/games haha and now, I just use it for my main online messaging with friends and stuff. More recently, I have come to use it with other artists too.

I'll definitely look into making new icons! I want to make a holiday one for sure.

Good to know! I had an artist express interest in maybe working with me and asked for my discord, but I didn’t have one
