Inktober Questions

So, I'm thinking of at least doing some Inktober drawings this year (I'm not sure I'll be able to do it everyday!) but before I do, I have some questions about the event that I can't seem to find the answers to:

1) Does it really have to be ENTIRELY ink? I mean can I add color accents, like gold stars, or make a character's eyes pink, or w/e so long as the majority of the picture is b&w?

2) Is it okay to use digital ink? Or does it have to be traditional art?

3) Like I said, I'm not sure I'll really be able to draw a picture every single day for the month of October, but is that okay? Or if you can't do it a few days out of the month is it all for nought?

4) Is there anything else I should know about? Extra rules? Guidelines? Themes? Official websites? Tips?

Nope, add whatever you like. The more, the merrier.
Last year I colored a lot of my Inktober drawings.

Yes!
There's no Inktober police and if there was I'd be all for disregarding that weird unneeded enforcement troupe.
Use any media to your liking, ideally inky in some sense of the word.

I doubt anyone will sue you if you still call it Inktober without doing all days. Again, no police.
It's basically just a fun challenge that can be reinterpreted however you see fit. Maybe there will be someone in the world who thinks it's wrong but it shouldn't matter to you. =3

Typically I think people do lean toward traditional ink (black and colored inks) and use the event to get better at that skill set, but I don't think it matters. And a lot of people skip days, so don't worry about that. You do you.

Inktober was invented essentially to improve one's inking/lining skills, won't matter if it's traditional or digital, miss days/add colors or not
I think of INKTober as a way to go back to my nostalgic pre-Wacom days u.u
