In my writing experience, I learned that to create the most realistic and lively characters is to draw from experience. For me, it's easier to write some moments or characters when I can relate it to something personal. Otherwise, I take a lot of inspiration from art, manga, anime, games, etc., things I've saw over the years. For example, I wanted something "Fun" something adventurous...So, what popped in my head were things like Inuyasha, Sailor Moon, Genshin Impact. (Things I had never saw before). At the heart of my choice, I wanted to create a sort-of "community" within my Novel (Clan Royale) that readers could enjoy or align with. Then, by reading more webcomics I felt inclined to turn my novel into a comic as well (STARFALL). In short, my inspiration simply comes down to wanting to take a magical quest, save the day, and create a relatable problem.
