Hello , it's nice to meet you,
My story is called The War That Bound Us. It’s a slow-burn fantasy set during a brutal conflict known as the Crimson Veil War. The story follows Karisa and Eris, two women navigating war, hardship, and the deep bond they share. While both characters are central, the main focus is on Karisa—because, honestly, she’s going through it. As the general of a Celestial Defenders camp, Karisa is forced to make difficult decisions on the battlefield while constantly being questioned about whether she deserves her position. Despite everything, she carries on. And one of the few people who truly sees her for who she is… is Eris. Eris isn’t afraid to speak up. If someone doubts Karisa, she’ll be the first to call them out. She’s one of the few anchors Karisa has—the rare space where she can actually breathe for a moment. There’s so much more I’d love to share, but I don’t want to spoil anything. If you have questions, though, I’d be more than happy to answer them!
️ Content Warning: This story deals with themes of discrimination, experimentation, death, and trauma. These topics will be handled with care and respect—especially when it comes to discrimination and trauma. My goal is never to romanticize these issues, but to explore them honestly and thoughtfully.
The War That Bound Us is part of a larger fantasy world I’m building. This story felt like the best place to begin, because Karisa’s journey is the thread that ties everything together—why the war is happening, how it began, and why these characters matter. Her story has been with me for a long time, and now felt like the right time to finally tell it and share it with all of you. These characters mean a lot to me, and I want to write a story that’s meaningful—something that resonates. I hope you feel that when you read it. I’ll be posting a new chapter every other week (hopefully moving to weekly soon).
