Heyo, I'm Michelle.
I'm brand new to Tapas here, was hoping to find a nice community to read occasional stories or post some of my own stuff.
I like to make 3d models, play various tabletop RPGs, and do a nice bit of writing every now and again. Most of my writings tend to be about superheroes and supervillains, though sometimes I write little romance stories here and there.
If anyone has any stories about superheroes or villains, I'd be down to read them, and I myself just posted a short novel about one of my own superhero characters, Jumping Jack.
It's a pretty short one, only about 6 chapters.
Hi o/ I'm Kat, A long time Tapas reader and relatively new creator.
https://tapas.io/series/Tales-of-the-Tainted-Tree1
Tales of the Tainted Tree is a high fantasy adventure which follows Belladonna and her allies as they seek the truth to an age old mystery that could determine the future of their oppressed world.
The novel is broken up into short stories with their own arcs that all interconnect to the main plot, and each episode on represents a scene in the short. The first story is completely uploaded and I'm hoping to start uploading the next one soon. Please check it out!

We're not sure where to start but briefly:
In the 1990s we were information brokers and turned into film scriptwriters and producers, and just recently started our own publishing house. As COVID has slowed us down somewhat, we returned to our first love: animation and comics. We were greatly influenced by the anthropomorphic (or furry) fandom, and from there we started writing a ton of stories together. then we got into comics and started thinking about fun ideas that revolved around the South Pacific. We didn't see too much of that around, so we thought we'd capitalize, plus both of us have always dreamed of the island life. But neither of us can draw anything but stick figure cats, and great attention, so we started hiring artists to fill that void.
Our first webcomic, "The Depths" gained quite a following and with it a #1 rating on Google for adult furry comics. (you can of course message for a link, provided you're over 18 - ir just Google adult furry comics and we should be top of your screen) Then we needed something a bit more tame, so we started writing a comic strip called "Insignificant Otters" (a cute play on "significant others") featuring two otters, Emma and Kevin, seemingly stranded on a deserted island and trying to survive. With one catch: he's in love with her and she won't give him the time of day. The jury's still out but we've managed to stick around the "Popular Comedy" category so...go us. ^^ It's drawn by veteran Walt Disney artist and animator Jim Roy Jimenez
Our other webcomic is "Island Girls", a little less-known right now, but getting a following. This one's about scantily-clad 19-year-old girls on the South Pacific island facing love and danger in the 1930s. We're trying to keep it PG-13, and it's not easy. =P It's beautifully illustrated by Ralph Del Mundo, and if the name's familiar, he just got a movie deal for "Rock n Roll Diesel Zombies".
So far we've managed to, well, maybe not succeed just yet, but getting there. We want to tell every comic creator out there that doesn't feel they are popular yet - stick with it, be passionate about what you do, and you soon will be. Just be patient. We're also happy to help anyone out, be it a critique, a review, a little editing, whatever. We're not in competition here, and the goal should be that we're all successful. So don't hesitate to message. Our only payment we ask for is a like and a subscription.
Here's to your success!

Totally new to this website and newish to making comics. Have been making them for only 9 months now. I've got 2 series going with the same characters, they are based off my own pet ferrets. One is plot driven the other is day to day "slice of life" living with ferrets.
Here's the story comic: https://tapas.io/series/Monty-and-Meeko---Road-to-Home3
And the slice of life comics: https://tapas.io/series/What-Owning-Ferrets-is-Like---Starring-Monty-and-Meeko1
They're scheduled to release every other day to catch everyone up, then weekly when it's caught up. I don't know if posting here will actually gain any interest but I can only hope.

Hello! I'm Huling Habilin! I'm kinda new to tapas (I just created an account)
I'm active on webtoon and I've been having second thoughts about creating an account here. I'm glad I made one because everyone has been kind so far (I'm mostly basing on the replies that I have read on other topics and I have not encountered any malicious comments which is really really great!)
I'm currently working on a webcomic that I will post by the end of the month. I was planning to post it on webtoon only but now I'm thinking about posting it here too.
That's all! I hope you guys are having a good day! Stay safe! Thank you! :>
Hi, everyone! I'm Zino, I've been on and off tapas about a year now. I've lurked the forums for some time without ever posting anything... I mostly read comics here, but maybe in the future I'll try reading some of the novels too, who knows~ I usually like to read romcom type of stories, which probably explains why I'm also drawing romcom for my comic lol.
Anyway, it's nice to meet everyone and please continue having interesting topics here in the forums so I can keep lurking, haha~
Hi, my name is Kai and I go by @stormbykai for all my writing socials. I write fictional short stories based on prompts I like and sometimes they intertwine with non - fiction. I write on Twitter & Kofi outside of here, haven't (and probably won't) write fanfics, and also won't write NSFW. I am hoping to create some income off of my writing and if anyone has any questions about this or in general my curiouscat is @stormbykai.
