My name's Royal Dunlap, (You can call me Roy, no need to be formal here!), currently working on cloudJUMPERS with the story of "Exile to a clouded wasteland above Earth becoming the least of your worries when you're a single father trying your best to raise a daughter in a world of seemingly never-ending danger." Howdy!

My name is James Woodall and I'm the author of the AfterDeath series. Ever since I was a teenager I've wanted to tell stories about this little world I've dreamt up and I've always felt comics would be a good way to go about telling them. Unfortunately, I've never felt very confident in my art skills and only recently did the support of some anonymous folk push me to actually give telling a story through a comic a shot - and the result of that is AfterDeath!

AfterDeath is an equal parts grim drama and coming-of-age (after a fashion) story about the Goddess of Natural Death: Voshim; she yearns to be remembered as more than a monster to the mortals she reaps. It follows her descent from Goddesshood into mortality and the consequences of the Grim Reaper hanging up her scythe in this anachronistic and lovecraftian dark fantasy world.

I'm happy to be here on Tapastic. This is the first comic series I've ever made so I'd love any help you potential readers and artist-fellows are willing to gift me. It's a learning experience and, though I'm putting my best foot forward, I could always use a little helping hand.

Hi everyone!

I'm Leafa, you might have come across me before if you hang around at Webcomic Underdogs or ComicFury! I've decided to take the plunge into the world of Tapastic to make more mobile-friendly versions of my comics available.

When I'm not making comics I'm an archaeologist, and I think that is reflected a little in the eclectic settings of my stories.

Right now I'm uploading The Art of Monsters, a comic set in a fantasy version of Tang dynasty China, about why you shouldn't teach sculpture to supernatural beings. I'm uploading it a page a day on Tapastic, but if you get impatient then the full story is complete over at the main site.

My ongoing comic is Breaking the Lore, a deathbed confession from an old woman to her grandson: a strange tale featuring bizarre creatures, vanishing castles and implications for who, or rather WHAT he is. Its loosely based on a little-known English folk tale. I'm hoping to start uploading it on Tapastic soon, but for now you can find it above at its main site.

Hello good folks, I'm hui, the creator of Absurdity. I've been on Tapastic for just over a week and I'm very thankful for the warm welcome everyone has shown me on my comic. I'd been lurking around the website reading comics for awhile, and really enjoying the good UX of the Tapastic site & App. Also really enjoying the fact that many creators here are embracing mobile/ digital and adjusting their comics to suit! TO THE FUTURE!

About Absurdity, I feel there is a whole alternate universe out there where incredibly silly stuff happens (thus the title) and someone just has to document it, for posterity. It's a lighthearted (for now), short 4-koma (or more komas :P) style comic strip.

Some of the comics I really love are:
Sarah's Scribbles - like, so relate-able, yaasssss!
A Matter of Life & Death - really gorgeous black and white line art, lovely compositions!!!
Two Cent Slice - satire of life, so good
Girls In Real Life - the art is not as polished, but the humour keeps me laughing so hard I cry.

I hope to keep growing on Tapastic with you guys, here's to creating and reading more entertaining comics!

My name is Jean-Luc, but my friends call me "Mr. Toontastic" due to how silly I can be. I love creating comics and other forms of art, and I hope you all can enjoy my up and coming cartoon comic strips. I'm currently a college student, so this can help me out a little bit when it comes to purchasing schoolbooks and such, if I get enough help that is, but overall, I'm in it for the fun and joy of officially posting comics somewhere other than deviantART.

So far, I have one comic series brought over from my deviantart account called, Sticktoons!, a variety of comic strips which details the life of two brothers as they try to overcome life, unexplainable encounters, friends, jobs, and each other. They might be stick figures, but the rest of the world isn't!

My name is Asterodia. I've been on Tapastic for a little under a year. But I only now managed to find this elusive introduction board D:

I am currently studying Film Arts, majoring in Animation and Screenwriting and have always loved making up stories and mindless doodling.

I have three comics on Tapastic so far.
My active ones are Punny, I'm Home!, A pun series thingy that has a very lame sense of humour and
A Tale of Day and Night, a colourful, fairy tale inspired fantasy/romance type of story. Both of them are quite experimental as I'm still figuring out what I'm doing with this stuff.
Then there is also Noir et Blanche, a short, very rushed comic I made for a term course in 2014 when I was studying programming for a year.

As for comics I read, there are too many nice ones! Though if I had to pick a few favourites I would have to say:
Undying Happiness (hillarious and so well done!),
Bento Battle (cute and happy!),
Red Heaven (though I love anything by Keikokup!),
Humor Me (i love the art and expressions in this one so much!),
E-Depth Angel (very well done, interesting story)
aaand West (beautiful art and fascinating premise!)

Now with the help of a floating orb named Pavane she must find the next 8 jewels to save all of humanity before the evil goddess, hera, and her accomplices get to them. I've started this comic which I started writing out about 6 years ago, and finally decided to give it a good go. So far, it's been quite a task.
