Is anyone else posting their comics on Itch.io?

Heya so I recently discovered that Itch.io has a comics community. I'm selling a .PDF version of my next minicomic there. I was wondering if anyone else here at tapas is using the site, and more importantly, HOW are you using the site?

I posted the first volume of my comic there, but I've been too lazy to upload the individual files for each chapter since. I like how the site lets you customize a page for your content, so I also use it for some of the old flash games I made. Overall, it feels more like a place for indie games and fanzines than comics.

The direct payments/donations through the site are great though, especially since you can choose how much of a percentage you want to share with itch.io

I really like this feature a lot, I was selling my PDF's through gumroad, which doesn't let you do this, and I was also experimenting with a different platform that's even more inflexible. Having that freedom is such a good point in favor of itch.io for me.

Overall, it feels more like a place for indie games and fanzines than comics.

Definitely not your traditional webcomic distribution method, but I think this format sorta attracts a slightly different comic-making-crowd than places like Tapas & Webtoons do. It's nifty seeing the difference between the type of content you can find on the sites.

for example, stuff like this tends to get buried or overlooked on tapas, but this is at the top of itch.io's popular section right now.
