Is Anyone Familiar With Texture Packer?

I'm really wanting to make some sprites of my characters. I just recently heard of a program that you can download for free called Texture Packer. Because I'm paranoid, I'm wanting to ask anyone who has used Texture Packer if it's safe?

I haven't heard of that one, but if you're looking for free pixel art software, Dottable for the iPad is a nice one.

i personally use a program called "graphic gale".

this program seems new so i never heard of it before either

Yes, TexturePacker is safe to download.

The more relevant question is: Does it do what you want to do?

What do you mean with "make some sprites"? Is it about painting - then it's the wrong tool. If it's about packing your graphics in a sprite sheet it's exactly what you are looking for...
