so, I've been making songs that would go with my comic, but I usually get stuck on one for a long time since there's always something that I feel needs to be fixed about it. would it be possible for someone (with experience) to maybe evaluate it before I upload it and tell me what I should fix? if anyone's interested this would happen through pm

I'd be happy to give your stuff a listen, I've been playing music for 11 years and making music for about 6 now. Keep in mind, most of that experience is rock or metal-oriented.. Though, my recent music ventures have gone outside of the realm of music that would be played by a band, and more a score to be put in a TV show. I dunno if I count as "qualified", but I'd definitely give my take on the stuff you wrote

it would be the stuff that isn't quite finished. I actually don't know if pm would work for it, do you think we could email?

Hi! I would like to listen to your music, you could try uploading in soundcloud

I already do that, it would be just for stuff that isn't finished that I need advice on. I was gonna send something to the person who posted before you, but if you want I could pm you too

Well, all your instruments feel like they are only in one channel. What program do you use for editing music?

In the image as you can see there's 5 places for putting tracks so that would be your channels. You are using 4 channels in this one. So maybe it's the recording. Are you using directly sounds (or samples) from Fl mobile?

And don't worry, don't feel this as "bad critics", I´m just telling you things I learned myself while studying music by myself. ^^

Ahh that's it.

When you feel that you mastered this program, try others. Or change the music samples (sounds for your music)

Ok you should listen some of the music genre you want to compose and start thinking about the instruments they use. What instrument should have more volume and what other should have less and vice versa. You have the melody on your head, just keep practicing with different sound programs. Think about the tempo too, that helps a lot in the composition, the: one two three four.... one two three four. oneeee two three four.

Man. I want to read theory of music again.

I don't try to make a specific genre, since that's mostly just for myself and what I think sounds good. I have fl studio, but I never get around to using it.. I really just want advice on things that aren't done, but I was gonna message the other person about that..
