Is it possible to sell ad space on my tapas comic site?

I use project wonderful to promote my comic here on tapas, but it would be better if I could sell ad space here on tapas as well, rather than over on smackjeeves (where I am doing it now) with a project wonderful ad, since I would be getting higher bids on my ad space if I drove my traffic here rather than to smackjeeves.

Does anyone know, is it possible to put an ad space on my comic site here on tapas?

I can't find the thread where this has been discussed previously, but I'm fairly certain there is no way to put project wonderful ads on Tapas.

The reason being Tapas makes money by selling ad space on the website. If everyone were able to have their own project wonderful ad spaces on the same site, it would be undercutting Tapas's profit. Since the money made from ads is used to run the website that we all host on for free... that could be bad news bears.

Project wonderful bids go directly to the ad holder, so they'd still be making money either way. I just wondered cause I wanted to bid on their ad space, but I don't see tapas ad space on project wonderful so I guess they aren't on there.

Your original post says you want to sell ad space on Tapas, which seems like you were wondering if you could insert the project wonderful ad code somewhere on the tapas site and allow people to bid on that ad spot.

If you're looking to purchase ad space on Tapas, to have an ad with a link to your comic running on Tapas's site you'd have to contact them directly. They do use ads from third party ad providers (though I don't know which, pretty sure not project wonderful) as well as direct advertisers.

Project Wonderful requires you to insert code into Tapas and there's no way to do that at this time.

Also, Project Wonderful CPMs are even lower than Tapas CPMs so you'd actually be shooting yourself in the foot in terms of ad revenue.
