I see many people talking about line webtoon in the forums, but I have not posted my comic there, mainly because I don't want to have to go reduce the page sizes on 340 pages of comic and I don't really want to have to post in 3 different places every Wednesday(smackjeeves, tapas, webtoon) but, if I can gain a good number of new followers... What do you guys think? Is webtoon more active than smackjeeves and tapas? Is it worth the pain in the ass of going through 340 pages to save as a smaller file?
Here's my comic too... because I'm shameless.
EDIT: So I posted my entire 340 page comic on webtoons, thought this might be interesting to anyone who is also curious about it.
I have been on Tapas for 8 months, and i currently have 465 subscribers, 8.3k views and like... 6 comments or something stupid like that. Mind you I paid for ads to drive traffic to my tapas as well. I posted on webtoons today and I have, in about 7 hours, gotten 1.3k views, 71 subscribers, and about 3-4 comments too.
I guess numbers don't lie. Thanks for the ones telling me to post there.
My one complaint is I really hate their site. No customization at all, and there's nowhere to post my social media links, or any sort of info at all really. Smack jeeves is still my favorite site, as an artist. so customizable, adding links and buttons is so nice, and I get quite a few comments and feedback over there compared to tapas. Why can't our powers combine?! Smackjeeves' customization, tapas' ad revenue and forums, and webtoon's audience and discover-ability.
