Is there a reason it's named after this anime?
After a quick read, the main thing that stands out to me is that the story seems kind of weirdly fixated on race? It could be you're going somewhere with that, but it definitely feels awkward, especially with the Asian specific cliches. The only things we know about the main guy is that he likes math, video games, and other Asians. These traits aren't inherently bad, but it'd help if he was more well rounded as a character. (Edit: and that he's bad at English! Which was a nice deviation from the standard stuff)
The characters also seem a bit immature. I feel more like I'm reading middle schoolers than high schoolers. My recommendation is to maybe spend a little longer on each chapter and try to dive deeper into the characters.
I think a kid trying to impress the girl he likes is a cute idea for a series. Theres plenty of potential there!
Sorry it's not more indepth, I don't typically give feedback on novels. Good luck, and keep writing~
