I used to draw with a friend an comic in wich the representation of God was skinny/malnurished black dude with dreadlocks that reached to heaven, he smoked weed made of the souls of the dead (as you can see, he was kind of an ass)

I would only display Jesus in my comic if it was for something informational (so not for jokes). I would never display God in my comic because of one of the rules in the Bible.

errrrrr i'm tackling the concepts of god and religion in both sixty-four and faith (i have a hyper-interest in exploring the memetic nature of theology) and the idea of a "christ" character who isn't explicitly the messiah has always interested me, so i'm experimenting with that too.

tbh my favorite jesus manga is still Saint Young Men, where Jesus and Buddha are roommates

Well, I don't have Jesus or God as a character, per say, but two of the main characters are religious (Jewish and Southern Baptist respectively), and since its based heavily in American folklore, the devil shows up here and there, but more in a trickster god sort of form rather than an actual religious figure. Religion is a big topic discussed though.
