Is lezhin okay now?

I wanted to try to send my work to lezhin but however my friends said that lezhin have some issues on artists' wages... So I just wanna know whether it's safe or not?

Or have somebody tried to send them your webtoon?

I also wonder, have they started to accepting not manga style comics at least sometimes?

I read a lot off Lezhin, but was told they didn’t treat some of their previous creators well. I’ve looked at the instagrams and twitters of the creators I read from over there to get a sense of whether or not they seem to be happy. I haven’t seen any complaints from them, so I’m hoping that Lezhin is treating them better. I wonder if you could reach out to some of the creators and see if you get a response??? I’m sure they have large followings.

And @tired_programmer I haven’t really seen much away from the manga/Korean webtoon styles. Like, none have really stuck out as indie to me. They seem pretty selective.

They have for awhile. At least, from what I've read. Yudori's comic is on there (Pandora's Choice) and a biographical diary that was really heartwarming but not "anime" was Danzi, and a drama about past events and strained friendships, called Look At Me, is ongoing.

a lotta ppl submitted for their contest, but they take in entries year long.

from what I know, they look for webtoons but they'll look at anything you send them. this past month they started publishing manga from Hakusensha.

the whole payment thing is still fresh in everyone's minds, but it looks like they've settled with all the creators. the big news in Korea was that the revamping of their publishing contracts due to creator demands.
