Is tapas for writers?

Yeah I'm guessing my romance-centric story just isn't appealing to the audience there.
Each site has their own genres the audience skews toward.

Tapas is for writers yes. But it is hard sometimes because there's other webnovels online If you are passionate about your novel i would recommend the following:

1. Update once or twice a week:
   Depending on your schedule irl, update regularly. i would not recommend updating/add episodes 4 times a week because Tapas's algorithm stop notifications after the second update.

2. Plan a schedule:
   if you have majority of the chapter already types and readied to publish it's best to schedule them. When you're editing/adding a new chapter to taps you have the options to publish or schedule publish. That way you have more time to work on the next chapter.

3. Use the forums:
   There's plenty of support threads on the forums and if you go to some you can link your novel there. Though I would not recommend going to every single at once and post otherwise you'll be marked as spammed. in fact, I have a thread (XD #shameless plug) where if you've update your novel/comic you post it there.

Follow these steps and your novel should be able to grow.

I was curious so I created a webnovel account. I already have like 1.5k views in two days, but nothing more (basically the views don't feel substantial).

Give Tapas time. People tend to come here from other sites and expect a lot more, but this is a site you grow on and is rewarding when you do. It can take weeks, months, or a year depending. But definitely give Tapas a shot and be patient.
