basically whats the question is about you yourself....for example if you say the glass is half empty then your thinking negative but if you say the glass is half full then your thinking positive...i always hear that from other people and i always say half empty hahaaa

It depends. If you're drinking/emptying it, it's half empty. If you're filling it, it's half full.

Well, quoting Alejandro Jodorowsky: " A glass isn't half full or half empty. It contains a certain amount of water" (please bear in mind that this is a translation made by me -spanish to english-, so it's pretty literal).

So half empty or half full are really human conceptions, basically how you see is a projection of yourself. Also, I invite everyone to have their own interpretation of that quote =] .

It depends on how the glass got to the halfway point! If the water was added in, then the glass is half full. But if water was taken out, then it's half empty! o3o

My default is half-empty. I assume most would fill a glass up before drinking it. I know there are exceptions, but for the most part, people don't slowly fill a glass in increments after each drink. So, there's more potential of it emptying then being refilled.

It's half full if someone filled it to the halfway mark, while if it's half empty then you've drunk the water to the halfway mark. So, in that picture (because of no droplets on the side of the glass), we can deduce it's half full.

It depends on the circumstances. Were they filling it up or emptying it? If they were filling it up then it'd be half full. If they were emptying it then it would be half empty....is my logical argument. My lazy argument would be half full because it's less syllables. My geek argument would be always full because atmospheric gasses (chemistry rules)

It depends on the situation. If the person has been "taking" from it, like being greedy or anything else you can think of the it's half empty. Like racing the clock when you've been procrastinating.
