Is there a way to convert a manga to novel?

Hi there

I have been working on my manga for two years now, and I started to post it half a year ago. After that time, I can only conclude that I don't have enough free time to draw enough pages per months ; and even if I could, my story is so long it would take me my entire life to draw it.

So, I would want to keep the prologue as a manga, and do the rest of the story in the form of a novel, with some illustations, pictures, and manga pages to accompany the writing. That way, I will be able to upload more content at a faster pace.

First, is there a way to convert a manga project to a novel project ? Or will I have to create a whole new project ? If I have to chose the latter, I think I will repost the drawn prologue at the start of the novel, so that people don't go blind in my story.

Second, I found out about the trick to upload pictures on novels in Tapas (Firefox + copy/paste), but I wasn't able to find recent infos on this. Does this still work ? Did Tapas add a new feature to allow you to upload pictures on your novel ?

I actually read (kind of) a manga/novel in one before.

The first part (or chapter) is complete manga, and the rest is in writing format (which I can't read since they're full Japanese), so yes, it is possible. You have to seriously put in warning about the change once it'll turn to writing tho.

If you want to put bit and pieces of images and comic pages on your novel, it is possible since light novel s a thing. There's usually no dialogue when you put it however, but there might be some exceptions and you can do as you like.

I don't have PC so I can't try this myself, but it's seems like the trick is just a straightforward copy paste and it still worked because no one complained about not able to post pictures yet? But there's a limit on how big your picture can be, and if I don't get it wrong it's below 1500kb.

Oki doki, thanks for the link, I'll try it out once I start the novel I posted something on my wall to prepare my readers, but I will make sure to put a second warning at the end of the first chapter ^^
