Yeah there are so many cool ideas, silly ideas, serious ideas, well blended concepts.. Differentiating is tough. I get this recurring issue when i'm planning the story where I'll start doubting if it's interesting for others. Then I wonder if it's interesting for myself, and sometimes the answer is 'no.'
Do you think that some 'boring' or 'uninteresting' moments have to be in there? Like eating your broccoli before your dessert?
Tsukin: Yeah I'm trying to have themes and messages too. It's tough to get a bunch of events to lead up to a supporting theme or message, making them appear subtle and natural as opposed to contrived.
