Is there anyway to lower the monetazion thing on Tapas?

You shouldn’t be too concerned with monetization through ads. In four years I’ve made three cents off advertising.

What you need to do is take part in one of the Inksgiving events. When they are happening you can have “reader support” unlocked, and readers can give you “ink” directly, which translates into money - but still not a lot of it. You can’t even withdraw until you’ve hit $25 worth. I’ve had a grand total of $38 in ink given to me, which I promptly spent on more ink to give to other creators.

I've had ads unlocked since 2018 I think and with 1.7 million views, I've gotten a grand total of $67 from ads over eight years. Ads have also slowed down a lot over the past couple of years, so there's really no money in them. As ThunderChicken advised, ink events are your better bet.

Another point to note is this barrier was created with the intent to vet quality of a work or something along those lines which i think is why the number chosen was 100 subs.

But its like folks have mentioned that you really aren't earning a whole lot from ad impressions. There was a point in time where someone would give periodic roundups of what metrics were looking like and it's remained on a downtrend so unlocking ink support is a better bet.

even then (so long as you're 18 or older) you can also use other platforms for financial support like ko-fi or patreon, but it will be on you to market those pages to get people to click through as the average reader is likely just scrolling through and maybe liking updates as they go if you're lucky

Well, I understand your dislike of Webtoons/Disney idea, but I do personally have much more luck there since the beginning. I do also know it's different for everyone though, and one still needs a lot of subs and engagement (much more than on Tapas) to get into ad revenue program, so one cannot say it's an easier solution.

As everyone else said, the monetization will be mere 0.001 of cents, so after many years you will probably be lucky to get like 1$ which you won't be able to withdraw. Ink is definitely where the monetization support is.
So try being active during Inksgiving and advertise your Patreon and other services if you have them!
