I was mulling over my unused/inactive OCs from some RP groups, and thought that they didn't really get enough play. I somehow thought up of an entire hypothetical scenario between two of them and voila some (possibly fake) cover art was made.

But should this become real? It will definitely be a NSFW BL type comic that I will have nearly no place to upload due to site policies.

Honestly, if you like to create stuff and you have an idea, go for it! A lot of authors who have potential site unfriendly stuff upload them to another website while on tapastic they just have an alternative page where they imply what happened. Passionate cuddling here, touchy feely elsewhere. If you have a good plot the story should have enough content to survive on this site.

The cat ears really remind me of Loveless. I've recycled OCs myself, but you may find yourself tweaking their interests or motivations based on your plot. I think it's great to write for character you REALLY know, inside out. Make sure you create a well-rounded supporting cast as well! Romance gets a bit boring if that's all a comic has going for it. Even if it's BL, an over-arching plot (non-romantic!) would really tie things together and keep things moving.

Using roleplaying OCs is actually really common!

well if you do make a comic like that you should make one that would stand out from the rest. Maybe something that can get non BL readers to read as well as BL? Madoka magica did that with magical girls making people watch it to find out it isn't all cutesy sparkles.
