Actually I think its kind of adorable. Depending on how this character's personality and mannerisms this actually looks viable. I suggest coming up with more ideas for a character design, assuming this is your first design for this character.

But you'll have to be more precise if you want us to tell you if your chara design is good. Like is it a main character, side character, extra ? What kind of personnality does he have, what's his backstory ? What kind of story is your comic with what kind of tone ? Does he blend well with your overall style (background, other characters etc)

So if your question is "Is this character cute and lovable and do you think he'd work well in a comic ?" Then my answer is yes.
If it is "Is this a good charadesign ?" Then I have no idea =D

Well, it depends on what you're going for, isn't it? I mean, is he supposed to be a hard boiled cop or an accountant?
It's technically competent, but part of character design is also about how it fits in with its purpose.

It's sooo cute! Must be it's ears and big eyes ^^. I think the design is original, sort of alien-like. Is this your first design or you got more?(if you do, show them!)
He blends in nicely with the air/sky colors, maybe a bit more color would do it better , the soft blue is nice but maybe you can 'explode' your character more with bright colors or any color .

i think its good for a cute funny type story. kinda reminds me of the amazing world of gumball! i like the dimmed colors more.
you should draw his feet too tho! and i think cleaner lines would look a little better. but thats just me cuz i really like clean lines

Personally I liked the original colors better.
