Is this opening scene interesting for a comic?

we see a purple desert

there's a small futuristic/wildwest style town aliens, ciborgues and robots walk around

meanwhile inside a saloon...

three people and jackie are in the saloon jackie is at the bar, a few bottles are by their side

the barman points a gun at jackie

barman says :listen here! you'll work for free untill you pay the bill or I'll shove some holes in your skull

jackie: interes*hic*ting , however...

jackie runs away and falls to the ground

the barman shoots
misses

the other clients runaway
Jackie gets up and roll on the ground to escape the shots

the barman continues to shoot missing all of them
jackie runs away from the canteen

head peaks out trough the door and says:thanks hic for the drinks*hic*
and desapears

I think it works!
It establishes the setting (futuristic with a saloon is intriguing).
Gives a strong first impression of the main character (will be interesting to see how accurate this impression is as the story continues).
Shows the kind of trouble they get into and how they deal with it.
