Glad to hear that the title actually brings intrigue. I have mixed feeling when changed it because I think Svet brings more intrigue (I still occasionally referring Lume as Svet to my proofreader and confuse her lol. Guess it's habit)

About effort, I agree with you. Although it may seem unnecessary to others, I always do it like that to all of my stories Spending hours finding perfect names for their personalities like parents naming newborn babies, setting the world like setting a new company, and a lot of behind the scene which may or may not captured by readers. For me, those are necessary (or maybe it's just my whole life hobby lol)

Volunteer. She's my bestie. We're both not a native English speaker, tho (she has better grammar and lives overseas). She's basically a beta reader who points out whether my sentences went strange or too influenced with my native language, as my natuve language has different structure from english.

This is me just seeing this now...eh, my instincts almost named the novel "Tic Tac Toe" (actually did for a hot minute) the cover art was a TURTLE a TURTLE of all things.

I keep muttering that to myself. Sure we have buffer chapters, but I am wayyy far from finished the whole episodes 🤣 Like "You sure? This gonna take real long"

It's not a race (right?)...who knows? Maybe by the time you arrive at your intended destination, you'll wish the journey had taken longer (or at least feel nostalgic for the process). Or maybe you'll wipe the sweat from your brow and avoid looking in the rearview. Either way, you'll be proud of yourself for finishing.

If a beta reader isn't asking for clarification in certain parts, they aren't doing their job.

It is not a race, but I do prefer to have my chapters released consistently. Might be toning down the update time if needed. I'd definitely feel nostalgic when I finished, absolutely.

She basically offers herself 🤣 perhaps my story serves as a break from her study, I believe.

Bi-weekly updates sounds like they would be a challenge, but you'll figure that out as you go; if you end up dropping to once a week or even less, that would be understandable. Better not to overwhelm yourself. (Often I have been guilty of self-overwhelming, so I know how tempting it might be to bite off more than you can chew.)

Yes, it is tempting indeed! I have been trying out the balance, because this is my first time releasing a webnovel. I want to give it all to my readers, yet I am not a full time writer. Thank you for the assurance that it's ok to slow down.
