I keep muttering that to myself. Sure we have buffer chapters, but I am wayyy far from finished the whole episodes 🤣 Like "You sure? This gonna take real long"

It's not a race (right?)...who knows? Maybe by the time you arrive at your intended destination, you'll wish the journey had taken longer (or at least feel nostalgic for the process). Or maybe you'll wipe the sweat from your brow and avoid looking in the rearview. Either way, you'll be proud of yourself for finishing.

If a beta reader isn't asking for clarification in certain parts, they aren't doing their job.

It is not a race, but I do prefer to have my chapters released consistently. Might be toning down the update time if needed. I'd definitely feel nostalgic when I finished, absolutely.

She basically offers herself 🤣 perhaps my story serves as a break from her study, I believe.

Bi-weekly updates sounds like they would be a challenge, but you'll figure that out as you go; if you end up dropping to once a week or even less, that would be understandable. Better not to overwhelm yourself. (Often I have been guilty of self-overwhelming, so I know how tempting it might be to bite off more than you can chew.)

Eh, why not. Don't take the title too literally, it's meant to be a little tongue-in-cheek. I'm not sure if it's "off the beaten path", but I haven't found many like it in the queer webcomic space (Probably mostly due to the current puritanical climate.), so I guess it's somewhat unusual.

Title: The Guide to a Healthy Relationship

One-line summary: An emotionally immature alcoholic tries to make amends with his ex-childhood friend upon learning they're not dead.

Rating: Mature - Nudity, violence, blood, profanity, substance abuse, non-graphic SA and mature themes.
Genres: Drama | Psychological | Hurt/Comfort
Series status: Hiatus (Will be back eventually!)

Not a brand new idea, but (I believe it's) kind of a rarity:

The Eclipse surrounds a time loop; every 3 chapters replay the same events with small details changed throughout each go around, until the end; where something significant happens. It ends with tragedy seemingly...

It's unclear if they get out or really become aware that they're in one...

Also, @denise did the cover, still thankful for that!

Re: trapped in a time loop: like Groundhog Day, The Butterfly Effect, Before I Fall, etc.?
Those types of stories are stressful yet suspenseful, but usually have an upbeat/uplifting ending. (Sounds like maybe yours doesn't?)

Ellie finds a talking vampire skull buried in the forest. Together they set out to find the vampire skull’s memories and body in the mysterious city, Dawn.

It’s an urban fantasy with some light romance, and it gets very dark and depressive at some points :3
