exactly i was wondering the same thing. i don't understand why some people cant properly read a post before they reply and they come on here making everyone feel uncomfortable. i don't get it. I asked a simple question and he just turned it into something else..

I dint knwos what attractive in this world anymore xD. Like i feel where im from, you are only as attractive as you present yourself (Like if you stand with confidence and put effort into yourself everyday to look you best) and everyone has their own preference. So i feel like my characters are attractive in their own right but i dont try to make them. I just ty to make them look unique and like an individual.

Y'know that exchange kind of exemplifies exactly what some people are trying to say. Something that's attractive to you might not be.... in someone else's interest, whatever that was for. So why care? Make a character that looks cool and enjoyable, even if they aren't cool, pretty and/or good people. Or if you really want a character that's attractive according to your preferences alone, do that too, it's your OC, your story, your rules.

For the story? Probably not, unless it's mentioned or an integral part of the plot.

I am aware that not everyone will find my OC attractive and that's fine with me. i myself don't think he is the stereotypical idea of attractiveness and that's fine because that's EXACTLY how i wanted to create him. i did not create this post for people to nit pick and tear me down. neither did i create it for people to critique my work. the point is for you to explain what attractiveness means to you and if it applies to YOUR OWN character.

what is wrong with that? why cant people stick to the topic? why does someone have to be dragged down? this is the exact reason why people who just want to have a civil conversation get upset and then everyone says "oh look, they cant take the heat", or "why are you so sensitive?" read the topic before you come here to say nonsense.

Talk about your character. talk about what makes them attractive if not the physical looks. not mine, not anybody else but yours. stick to the topic.

I didn't mean it to sound like that, and I'm sorry. I worded it completely wrong, with the intention of it being about making the character as you see them as enjoyable, and not letting someone else decide; you're absolutely right in criticizing someone's rude comment. I talked about my own earlier already and didn't want to keep bringing up personal examples.
