He's a main character. I have two main characters. The story revolves around him finding his father.

Heres mine. one of my character is from Mozambique. Came to the US to find his father and ends up finding something more complicated than he can handle.

Been working on this comic for quite some time now. I am getting close to the finish line and once I do, it will be a celebration haha! can't wait to get it completed. Check it out if you like (BL) [image]

One night stand with a guy who could be your brother (BL):persevere:

A Good example is the anime "Kenichi: The Mightiest Disciple". we get to see the main character Kenichi from being a weak fragile high school kid to gradually getting strong with the assistance of his friends. Very good anime. one of my favorites. watch it if you have time and I believe it will help…

Had to go look up the comic you are talking about and Geez! I had no idea there was something with that kind of visual here on Tapas. I have had to censor like very small body parts because my comic was flagged for a CHIBI image with a small butt crack showing”. I couldn't even believe i was message…

I use to have drafts then i realized that I was focusing too much on the draft and not the actual comic. not only I would easily get bored after creating the draft then go back and change it. I realized that this was tedious work so i completely got rid of drafts. well not completely, what i would d…

Why not participate. its been a while since i posted on a promotion page. Two brothers with a very unique secret that could be true or not true :kissing_smiling_eyes:

Same here... i felt the exact same way.

WOW i completely fell for it. The whole time I had my hand on top of my head asking my self "HOW THE F@#& am I supposed to fix my comic?" I am only one person doing a job required for a team and I'm doing the best I can. Thank goodness its an April fool's joke.

Your experience is exactly why sub for sub is pointless which is why I never engage it in :joy:. I do understand creators with low sub/view counts want an outlet to support themselves however it doesn't help. The best way to go about promotion is to engage in social media, interact the the forums and try…

Oh cool. that's another great avenue to promote and sell items related to your comic. I use to do these like a long time ago but the vendor fee got way to expensive and if i participated, it wasn't going to break even so i took a back seat on it. I am considering hoping back on it but only when i ha…

This was very usefull information. Thanks for sharing. at least now I have an idea of what to expect. knowing the quality isn't great is kind of disappointing and yes I noticed the profit you make is very small.

Woah not sure how I completely missed this. I went on amazon and typed yaoi and there it was, a lot of my favorite yaoi artists that I enjoy popped up and their work is graphic in terms of sexual content. I guess I was more concerned about the nudity in my work but it seems like it may not be an is…

Congrats. I hope you get more views and ultimately a purchase. I myself have been meaning to publish on Amazon but haven't gotten around to it. Does amazon let one publish comics or just graphic novels?

Thanks for taking the time to reply. I will ask my readers to see what they prefer before I dive into a second design. I am not too hung up on if I make money and reason being is, I have had my patreon acount for a while now and I think in each year I make about $800 to 1K and that is very very smal…

Awesome. Thanks for sharing. I am now reviewing the websites and it looks pretty good. I will take your advice and open multiple stores since it is free to do so anyway compared to Etsy where you pay.

Yeah you are right. all it will require on my end is time. I currently have 3 comics with two on hiatus so the main one I'm posing on actually have a decent level of audience and interaction which is why I used that as my main choice when creating an image for the Teeshirt. I'll give it a try and se…

Oh that's cool. which other websites do you use? I considered Etsy but I'm still pondering the idea.

I was approved to post in Tapas Merch shop several months ago and I pondered the idea. Long story short I finally decided to create a Tee-shirt with a nice character logo on it. So far I just have one item created but haven’t activated it for purchase and will like to create more in the future. So m…

It all comes down to preference. and again, Tapas was originally created as a comic platform before they realized that there was a need for Novels as well. I personally will read comics over webnovel. maybe it could be because I'm an artist and I enjoy telling stories with images compared to words…

lol, Thanks for the good tip. I'll look into what you mentioned. :purple_heart:

Here is my main cover. I do have another comic but I couldn't fine the cover to it so, Yeah! I really like the colors.:tulip: [image]

@Shanny8 how do you deal with the latency between the screen tablet and the pen? I had once practiced with a friends screen tablet. it was a Cintiq to be specific. I noticed there was a delay and we tried up and down to fix this thing and nothing worked. it was so frustrating. Eventually called Waco…

For some odd reason, I'm having a really hard time transitioning from a regular tablet to a screen tablet. so I have a good o'l iMac and an Intuos Wacom tablet. This way, I can browse the internet when taking a break.:yum:

I'm not exactly sure what your problem is and my post was not addressing you. you say your opinion and you keep it moving. All I ever did was give OP my OWN personal opinion and it's up to them to decided which one works best for them. I did in no way "dissuade", them form anything. you are trying…

Lol thanks. Honestly, that comes with time. I just wanted to share what I eventually started doing to get my readers engaged. Since you are kind of new to this I'd suggest just growing a following first, then slowly implement the ink incentive. I didn't start doing that right away until my comic wa…

I see... I had no idea once a week is a norm. Personally just because it's a norm doesn't mean you have to engage in it. It's better to start small and see how much you can handle then increase it as time goes on. There is nothing more dishartning than when an artist offers more than they can handl…

Once a week is NOT a good idea especially if you have no help whatsoever. I would never attempt that lol. I post 2 or 3 times a month and and I use the rest of my days creating buffers so if anything were to happen at least I can continue to post. When I first create my comics I make sure I have …

The hardest character to draw in my comic is Zefania with all his glorious tattoos. Man there were times where I had to give him long sleeve so I won't have to suffer. Not to mention the romantic scenes where he has to be in his birthday suit is even more harder LOL. [image]
