I know Tapas is relatively small compared to some of the other websites out there, but I really like it here. There are some really good points in the article. Hopefully this is in one step in increasing our userbase. :heart:

20% being novels is still a lot considering that it was primarily a comic site.

I'm surprised how big "The Beginning After the End" is. It has translations in Japanese, Korean, and Chinese and people mistake it for being Korean even though the original novel is in English. I think it's the only English webtoon that keep finding on "questionable" manga sites.

i think all light novels, isekai, litrpg, etc. have become grouped with xianxia, wuxia, and other genres usually perceived as Asian partly because of where they're usually found (usually online), and because of how they usually have similar lengths (so many words, so many chapters).
