My comic isn't that far along, but any advice would be SUPER appreciaited.
Tom is a boy who always wants to impress others, especially his superstar football player Dad, who wants Tom to be as manly as he can be. But Tom is a clutz, and after one of his stunts goes wrong, he finds a slug that he believes is his key to making his father proud.
The story is supposed to be a comedy, but I want to touch on the fact that what matters most is what we think of ourselves, and not what others say or do. This is a topic I've struggled with my whole life. I actually look at Tom and see myself.
I'm making it for families. After it becomes a comic I want to turn it into a TV show. That's the hope, anyway.
