âAsh, you canâtââ Alice began, but a squeeze from her husbandâs hand silenced her. She glanced at him, but his gaze was firmly affixed to Ash.
âI canât guarantee full immunity for what you do, Ash,â he said. âBut I can deflect suspicion if I have to.â
Ash nodded once. âThatâs fine. So long as the police stay out of my way, I donât give a ... how itâs done.â
âIn return, I want information about the main organization the Fishermen are attached to,â Abel said, his tone brooking no argument.
âI can do that.â
âAll of it Ashley,â Abel emphasized, then flinched, withering under the fierce glare he received from his son.
âOnly Coby can call me that,â he growled.
