Synopsis:

Every Tuesday at 4:17 a.m., Lyra wakes up.

Whatever she dreams about is always gone by morning, leaving behind only fragments—the feeling of being underwater, the taste of salt, a song she can never quite remember, and the certainty that something has been searching for her.

But on the morning of her twenty-first birthday, something feels different.

In Sector 7, routines are safer than questions. Lyra has learned to follow the rules, keep her head down, and avoid drawing attention to herself.

Then strange things begin happening that she can't explain.

A wound that heals too quickly.

Water where there shouldn't be any.

And the growing feeling that whatever has been searching for her may finally have found her.
