Kickstarter - Sending digital copies of comic to backers?

Hi everyone!

I was wondering if anyone had any experience with either backing or running a kickstarter for their comic? My writer and I recently funded on kickstarter (yay!). We did the kickstarter for our science super hero comic VSEPR ( http://VSEPR.smackjeeves.com ).

I had a $5 tier reward where I promised to send a digital version of the finished comicbook to the backers. Anyone have ideas of what the easiest way to do that is? 1 PDF with all the pages? A zip file with JPGs? A e-reader file of some sort? Ideas?

I know for sure it has to be small enough to be sent to backers through their email... although I could maybe send it through google drive... thoughts on that?

I think pdfs are the easiest way to have everything together. As for distributing it, a link to a dropbox file always works, that's what I use for my Patreon patrons.

But I have backed a project that uses this site for pdf downloads. https://www.wetransfer.com/
It works just fine.

You think the pdf should be super high res? Or just big enough for nice clear reading?

Somewhere in between I would think. High res enough that people can zoom in to look at detail if they want, but not so high res that the file's humungous.

I agree with joannekwan, I'd like to add separating the pdfs into chapters would be a good idea too.
